The Lincoln Corporate Games is a company-based competition, that takes place in the fall. It enables and supports teamwork, company pride, and corporate wellness through healthy competition.
Meet Your Wellness Goals
The Lincoln Corporate Games promotes physical activity and general physical fitness to employees of Nebraska businesses, municipalities, and government entities through competitive sports and recreational events. It provides companies with a platform to encourage employee wellness and teamwork, and instills company pride through competition in recreational events.

See How You’ve Stacked Up
I love the events that can get everyone involved. Our employees get jazzed about them and even compete against each other for best times. It allows our different departments to join together for a shared cause and it has been great for morale as well as interdepartmental bonding. On the other events, I love that we get staff spectators cheering on the competitors. It has given all of our employees a “greater goal” to get behind. It has had a very positive impact on our staff as a whole!!
This year we had more team members participate representing all three of our campus locations. This is a great way for staff and faculty to engage in a fun activity, get to know others and make some new friends. We appreciated the variety of events available – there was something for everyone!
This is our second year of participating in the Lincoln Corporate Games and the excitement that surrounds it within our organization is wonderful to see. Employees look forward to participating in the various events and love the competition aspect associated with the LCG. Many of our employees have expressed that they enjoy and are thankful they get to participate with other employees outside their department with whom they may not normally work or interact. It has increased camaraderie within our organization, brought out a healthy competitive spirit, and increased morale amongst employees. While the admin side of it can be challenging, it is worth it to see smiles on employees’ faces, hear about events from them the next day, and see our employees come together and enjoy each other’s friendship outside the work environment.
