Companies invited to join multi-event competition
Lincoln, NE (December 30, 2024) – Registration is open for the 7th annual Lincoln Corporate Games (LCG), a company vs company competition in 10 events taking place over several weeks beginning in August.
The sport schedule will be finalized in the next few weeks, but is expected to feature many of the favorites from 2024, which included Bowling, Canned-Food Drive, Cornhole, Golf Scramble, Miniature Golf, Pickleball, 5K Fun Run, Trail Walk and Trivia. Space is limited to the first 50 registered companies.
Companies are separated into divisions based on the number of employees. Awards include medals in competitive events, company banners for divisional winners and a title belt for the top company in each division. A leaderboard, updated after each event, is posted at LincolnCorporateGames.com and updates are provided on the LCG Facebook page.
Divisional winners in 2024 include Ironhide Construction, Midlands Packaging Corporation, Norland International and Hudl. From a company standpoint, the benefits of the Corporate Games include: wellness, team-building, company pride, hiring/retention perk and networking/public relations.
The Lincoln Corporate Games are produced by the Nebraska Sports Council, which also conducts the Cornhusker State Games, Pumpkin Run and the WellPower Movement. Presenting sponsors include Dormie Network, Leadership Resources and the Nebraska Lottery.
